4m Design Group provided a photographic assessment of the historic eight block city center for the City of Perry, Florida. Observing that each principle intersection was surrounded by beautifully detailed two-story historic brick masonry structures. Using examples of two-story arcades located in the State Archives, 4M Architects designed a series of single and double-story canopies with new gas lanterns and ‘street furniture’ including new iron grating for trees and street lighting masts that are based on the historical precedents of the logging and timber capital of north Florida.
